The Heart Ball “A Night on the Boardwalk” specifically focuses on the very serious issue of childhood obesity and what we, as a community, can do to reverse this growing trend. Studies now show that due to inactivity and obesity related illnesses, this could be the first generation of American children to live shorter lives than their parents.
We would like to invite you to be a part of this year’s Heart Ball. The 2011 Heart Ball “A Night on the Boardwalk”, is a coalition of compassionate individuals, families and businesses who aspire to make lasting change in our community and throughout the world. By joining this movement, you can be a part of our initiative to ensure our children are fit and healthy, develop the technology to correct congenital heart defects in utero, and take the steps necessary to reverse the growing number of overweight and obese children.
